2023 WBE Star

We are honored to announce that Elevate USA Inc.’s founder, Ellen Engel, has received the nation’s premier award for women’s excellence in business leadership – a 2023 WBE Star!

Ellen has been recognized as a Women’s Business Enterprise (WBE) Star by the Women’s Business Enterprise National Council (WBENC), the nation’s largest certifier of women-owned businesses and leader in women’s business development. The WBE Star Award is the nation’s top recognition for excellence among women-owned businesses, honoring 14 exemplary women business leaders from across the country who are leaders in their local business communities and respective fields.

Ellen founded Elevate USA Inc. in 2007 and under Ellen’s leadership, Elevate USA Inc. has grown the training company from a single trainer to over fifty trainers working across the country and internationally, offering over 250 tailored training topics and 7,500+ self-paced online learning modules and she co-founded Elevate BDG Inc. in 2017 with Delvon Survine and Kyle McCloud.

Ellen said, “Being recognized as a 2023 Women’s Business Enterprise Star by WBENC and my Regional Partner Organization, WBEC Florida, is an incredible honor. Our WBENC Certification has unlocked countless opportunities that we take advantage of continuously. I encourage all current WBEs and other women-owned small businesses to tap into the limitless potential of the WBENC network.”

“We could not be prouder of the 2023 WBE Stars,” says Pamela Prince-Eason, President and CEO of WBENC. “Each one of them exemplifies the vital role women-owned businesses play in our economy. They are outstanding leaders, mentors, and innovators, and we look forward to honoring them in March. This year WBENC sought to recognize and celebrate WBEs who have demonstrated remarkable resilience and capacity to reinvent themselves. These WBE Stars are being honored for perseverance and excellence through reinvention and innovation, despite the unprecedented challenges of recent years,” Prince-Eason continued.

Ellen will be recognized for her resilience, business acumen, inspiration to and mentorship with other women, and her active leadership role at the helm of Elevate during the 2023 WBENC National conference, a gathering of more than 3000 entrepreneurs and business leaders taking place March 20-23, 2023, in Nashville, Tennessee.
